FAQ
> Which materials are used for your plates?
Palm Leaf: these plates are made from fallen palm leaves, cleaned in local spring water. The leaves and then put in a heat press to form our palm leaf plates and bowls.
Sugarcane bagasse: it is a waste material produced from the extraction of sugarcane juice. These plates are more energy-efficient than oil-based packaging. This is because the raw material has already been pulped for its juices, and it does not need to be drilled for. Sugarcane Bagasse is also an annually growing crop making bagasse products sustainable.
> Can these materials handle liquids and grease?
Our plates will perfectly handle any liquids and are greasy and cut resistant. Although sugarcane works great with liquids and grease, it will lose resistance and strength after a few times of use as any other product.
