PROPERTIES FOR FOOD PACKAGING
Sustainable packaging has a lower carbon footprint than normal packaging. Birchwood cutlery can help your business reduce its environmental impact.
Birchwood cutlery has lots of qualities that make it a great alternative for your cutlery needs.
Where does your birchwood come from?
The wood is only taken from sustainable forests. The birch trees taken from these forests were planted to harvest and are being harvested for at least a second time. This means that only as much wood can be taken from the area as can grow back at the same time. The trees are re-planted immediately with the purpose of harvesting them again.
Is birchwood cutlery eco-friendly and sustainable?
Our birchwood cutlery is renewable and compostable. No chemicals or artificial binders are used in the manufacturing process.
Do these products affect the flavour of my food?
There is no distinguishing smell or flavour from these utensils. Birchwood utensils are increasingly becoming more and more popular during the last few years.
Can I put the birchwood in my compost?
Yes, we encourage it. Our birchwood cutlery is commercially compostable. It will break down in 12 weeks.
