PS is not accepted by UK kerbside schemes; dispose in general waste or energy‑from‑waste.

Yes – the fibre breaks down in 8‑12 weeks in a well‑managed home heap; PLA lid needs industrial composting.

PET and PLA lids are coated anti‑mist, keeping sushi visible in chilled displays for 24 h+.

Bagasse base handles 100 °C reheats; PS bases are for cold/ambient food only.

Clip‑fit rim passes a 1 m inverted drop test with soy sauce when paired with the correct lid.
